Ashton, a town in Fremont County, Idaho has a unique climate, but the last of August is usually sunny and warm. It offers a rich history and many attrations. Yellowstone Park is only one hour away. Grand Teton National Park is one and a half hours away
There are four rivers within 10 miles of Ashton. They are the Henry's Fork of the Snake River, Fall River, the Teton River, and Warm River and all are outstanding trout streams. There are three notable waterfalls nearby, Upper Mesa Falls and Lower Mesa Falls both on the Henry's Fork and Cave Falls on Fall River.
